Blog Week 2: Hi, my name is Victoria, and I have a confession to make… this week was tough! I was busy shopping for clients, and boy was it hard not to take advantage of some of the amazing deals I found this week. I had to exercise a good deal of self-control and remind myself of this awesome 30 Day Challenge. Happy to report I stayed on track and did not purchase anything and have really enjoyed the fabulous summer dresses in my closet.

Day 1: Light blue cotton summer dress

This is my go to breezy summer dress and it was perfect for the 95-degree day.

Day 2: Hot pink top, black cropped pants, and black wedges

I felt so sassy in this hot pink shirt and comfy wedges. They were perfect to go shopping in- shopping for a client not for me.

Day 3: Pink tank, navy shorts, white and gold sandals

I was feeling pink again this day. This pink tank is so cute and girly with it’s floral embellishment on the neckline J It was hot outside and I was hanging out with my husband J and our little L. I took the weekend off to relax and refocus.

Day 4: Orange polkadot button down, light jean shorts, white sandals

Continuing my comfy casual trend, I wore this lightweight button down and light jean shorts to hangout and chase after little L. She keeps me moving and I love clothes that are comfortable and pretty just like any other mom.

Day 5: blue floral pleated dress

This dress is always fun to wear. It has a delightful vintage look to it with the pleated skirt and bold floral pattern. It just makes me smile and want to twirl in circles like a little girl every time I wear it. (I might also be singing ‘ the hills are alive with the sound of”… oh nevermind- you really don’t want to hear me sing!)

Day 6: Wine colored cotton dress and bronze sandals

I got so many compliments while wearing this uber-comfortable and richly colored cotton blend dress. This is a dress I transition into the fall with by pairing it with tights, boots, and a cardigan or blazer.

Day 7: Orange print dress

It was shoe party day with Shush Shoes (visit their website here). I had the opportunity to collaborate with Shush Shoes for their Summer Shoe Sale this year; tons of beautiful ladies came through the doors and left with fabulous shoes and a smile on their faces. I wore one of my absolute favorite dresses, it’s my favorite for a few reasons: the gorgeous orange pattern, it’s light weight fabric, and it has pockets, plus it looked great with the wedges from Shush Shoes I got to model!!!

Week 2 was full of fun with my little L and husband as we savor this remainder of the season. Hooray for hot summer weather! I may run out of summer dress options in the coming days of this challenge. Wish me luck.

I would love for you to join me this week for a mini 7 day challenge! I am doing the full 30 days but you can try it out for only 7 days. Are up for the challenge to maximize your wardrobe and also discover things you no longer love that have been hiding in your closet? Well then join me this week for WEEK 3 of my 30 Wardrobe Challenge. You can read all the rules here.

I cannot wait for more wardrobe fun because it is week 3!

Be beautiful!
