Classic pieces are the foundation of any great wardrobe!

Do you have items in your closet with shoulder pads that a linebacker would be jealous of? How about a gold Lemay or tie-dye anything? If you answered yes to any of these questions it may be time for a closet clean out and to get some good foundational clothing pieces in.

A great place to start is with a handful of classic wardrobe pieces. I love to have a selection of simple tanks and short sleeved shirts that I can layer under anything, especially when paired with a cardigan or blazer. This pairing of tanks/short-sleeves and cardigans/blazers always go great with a pair of good quality jeans (which are yet another staple to a great wardrobe!). Throw on a pair of heels or flats and you are ready to go.

Once you have grasped the classic wardrobe pieces then the fun begins with accessorizing! Have fun adding belts, earrings, bracelets, and handbags to your sassy new look!
